Last updated: 1 January 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Crowdsafe Academy website and the purchase of training courses. By booking a course or using this website, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Bookings and Payment
All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received in full and you have received a booking confirmation email. Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment is processed securely via Stripe.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances can change. The following cancellation policy applies to all course bookings:
- More than 14 days before the course: Full refund, minus a £25 + VAT administration fee.
- 7–14 days before the course: 50% refund of the course fee.
- Less than 7 days before the course: No refund. However, you may transfer your place to another delegate at no charge.
- Non-attendance without notice: No refund will be issued.
To cancel or transfer your booking, please contact us at hello@crowdsafe.academy as soon as possible, quoting your booking reference number.
4. Course Alterations and Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to alter course content, dates, venues, or instructors where necessary. In the unlikely event that we cancel a course, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date. We are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by delegates.
5. Delegate Conduct
We expect all delegates to behave professionally and respectfully towards instructors and fellow delegates. We reserve the right to remove any delegate whose behaviour is disruptive or offensive, without refund.
6. Certification
Where a course leads to a certificate of completion or qualification, this will be issued to delegates who attend the full course and meet any assessment requirements. We cannot issue certificates to delegates who miss significant portions of a course.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, handouts, and content remain the intellectual property of Crowdsafe Academy. They may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without our prior written consent.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crowdsafe Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from attendance at, or inability to attend, a course. Our liability in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant course.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
